When was the last time you raised your voice to question a convention?
In university, we were teached how a great manager should be like: All of the mentioned characteristics perfectly described an extroverted person. I strongly disagree with the overall convention that being loud, talkative and the centre of attention are necessary traits to climb up the career ladder. Results are people trying to act contrary to their personality and less women in leadership positions. I requested the lecturer to adjust the study plan to also consider studies showing that introverts can be great managers.
