Ivor van Dartel (38) designed his first electric aircraft in 2007, when he was an Aerospace Engineering student at TU Delft, with a group of 10 students. After finishing his MSc final thesis project within Lockheed Martin on the F-35 electrical system, Ivor joined Airbus to work in engineering, operations, manufacturing, program management, and research and technology. He was the Project Leader for the Hybrid Electric Propulsion System of the E-Fan X Hybrid Electric Demonstrator. Late last year, Ivor and his Co-Founder, Dr. Sebastian Seemann, launched VÆRIDION.
