In 2020, Tim co-founded ROQ, a Firebase alternative tailored for B2B SaaS, customer portals, and multi-sided marketplaces. ROQ's Backend-as-a-Service empowers developers to deliver multi-tenant apps with multiple user types and organizations; all data can be directly queried from the frontend, with access management already taken care of.

Before building ROQ, Tim was CTO at Global Founders Capital and Rocket Internet, co-founded several startups, and led many innovation and IT projects for startups, SMEs, and DAX companies.
